![]() Lagunitas - Imperial Red (limited edition totally amazing) Left Hand - Fade to Black Pepper Porter (vol. ![]() It's soooo good, especially on draft in a frosty mug My favorite bar beer has to be Amber Bach. Natty light cause im a broke college kid :( I can't get it anymore in RI but don't miss it too much. generally everywhere if available in your area and usually cheap + tasty. Miller Genuine Draft, or if you're a cheap bitch Lakeport, also Venom-Black Magic I've never heard of any of those beers -_. Well yeah I'm sure that's true, but just as an alternative to heineken or something when I'm drinking with friends Wish i could grab some yuengling anytime i wanted Lol I have like an entire fridge full of Sam Adams Lat.48 IPA and Yuengling right now. Granted Left Hand is so much thicker/better but the same idea a sixer isn't that hard to make it through.Įxactly I basically treat them like session beers, which is horrible It is easily sippable similar to Guinness in that I cannot house a lot of stouts or porters but both of those are easy going. ![]() Obscene amount of the Ruthless Rye already this season Nice sounds right up my alley, I can probably have my local store order itĪnd dude the Left Hand MS has quickly become one of my favorite beers, I've gone through an So fucking tasty, a floral IPA that is smooth as fuck at 7.75abv. I dont think yall get Heavy Seas brews out in Chicago but if you ever see Loose Cannon (purple bottle, pirate on artwork) I think you'll nom in right up homie. Left Hand MS is so fucking good & loving that Ruthless Rye too. Yeah I'm in NY now so I'm pretty well versed with east coast stuff like Ommegang, Dogfish Head, Flying Dog, Brooklyn Brewing Co., and some others but thankfully there's a pretty good selection from all over the country. I'll try some of the others.ĭrinking a Torpedo Extra IPA right now because there's a bunch of them in my fridge, it's always a solid beer I'm familiar with most of those breweries but have only had the Oaked Arrogant Bastard out of that list. I'm in Chicago so there is a bit of a midwest bias to my taste (Bells, Founders, Metropolitan, Argus, Goose Island) but I definitely try to branch out as much as possible Flying Fish makes some good stuff though, they make a specialty beer for the Back Bay Ale House in Atlantic City which is one of the best amber ales I've had. Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale (American Strong Ale)īy the way Dnor if you're looking for something else out of NJ, try the River Horse Hopalotamus Imperial/Double IPA from Lambertville, it's good stuff. don't know their availability in your area.īrooklyn Black Chocolate Stout (Imperial Stout)ĭogfish Head Midas Touch (Traditional Ale) Here's a few I've tried recently that are pretty good. It's frustrating, because they do make some good stuff lolĭude i know they're all covered in dust with like Feb 2011 bottle dates Half the bottles we had made by clown shoes were dustier than a haunted house. I actually almost picked up a bullet of that today sniperĪnd yeah, I know what you mean about the clown shoes. I'll have to check out Flying Fish, not familiar with them. I've had the 120 minute IPA as well, it rules. so there's quite a few i want to try, but just haven't. Technically i did ask but i'm definitely not happy with your answerĭan: my issue with clown shoes (indirectly) is that the liquor stores near me all have really old bottles of most of their stuff, like over a year old. had the trappist rochefort 8 the other day. I'd recommend trying Flying Fish Company (Anything made by them is awesome)Īlso Clown Shoes makes an 18% alcohol 's terrible. I've had the Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. Just some brews and albums i've been enjoying lately.
